In September of this year we saw 159,000 jobs slashed and the trend continues. According to the Washington Post these companies have recently slashed jobs:

Another bad day on Wall Street saw the Dow Jones Industrial average was go down 514 points yesterday.
Looks like we will be in a recession for some time to come. A lot of people are fearing for their jobs and wondering how to make ends meet.
